This workshop introduces the most common group psychotherapeutic tools and interventions methods that will be both needed when meeting traumatized people in a group setting, and when reflecting various feelings that may be aroused during the aid process.
Aims: Participants become familiar with the basics of group interventions, group conducting rules, group processes, phases of group development, and the various conscious and unconscious elements of the various target groups that commonly seek counseling. This workshop can be tailored to meet the needs of the group i.e. the focus can be limited to children’s/ youth groups, adults groups, or focus on a particular issue such as divorce/loss or natural disaster etc., depending the needs of the group. (This workshop is recommended after workshops 1,2,6, and 7)
